So there it is, your first media interview about Jarvis’ exhibition of himself, with you dancing and sharing your deep views on music. And you’re not even 4. And I don’t know the people who edited this, I had NOTHING to do with it, except for the fact I took you there of course, but how could we miss such an adventure… And I’m so psyched that the word “rock” keeps rolling out of your mouth, so psyched I’ve nurtured the little punk you truly are, I think I will go smother you with kisses right now. Ok, maybe not, it’s almost midnight and your wake-up mood is tooooo close to mine ;)

This little video I directed is about your exhibit at Fondation Cartier in Paris. We’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback about it. Listening and looking at you and your work that day was a brain shaking moment for me. You’re what I call an epitome in human incarnation. You were totally here, now, breathing, living, sharing. You were so beautiful I cried.

The video’s been going around the internet, I figured it was only fair to share with the Universe your poetry and integrity.

I hardly know your music, but as an artist, as a free-spirited woman, as a mother (oh good heavens, that smile on your face, that look in your eyes as they locked with your son’s eyes for a song), as a human being, you’re an inspiration.

This being the video in which you see what a serious reporter I’ve become, how intimidating I can be to my guests, and the great career that now lays ahead of me as a weather anchorwoman.

Needless to say I had the most unbelievable fun during Show Off, which truly is a terrific Art Fair. All my guests were brilliant, my conceptions challenged, I learned a great deal, and I met fabulous people in the process. When I look back on the past year, I feel like clapping my hands with joy. I’m now a video director, a reporter, and a writer. All things that suit me much better than producer, manager, coach, and whatever other things I’ve been asked to do these last years :)

I’ll be doing videos in English soon, for the English version of Art and You. Will keep you posted !

The Art and You Studio welcomes Roy Stuart for a three week exhibit. I’ve been working on this show for two months now, and I think I should tell you guys, that I’m oh so proud.

I’m getting these New York reminiscent memories… Funny how sexually oriented experiments and highly empowering activities just make me giddy.

Roy is a very complex and interesting human being too. I’ve had to think about his work, figure out where I stand, where he stands, and how to share what I see as a very feminist approach to people around me.

Anyway, things are going well here, and I miss you guys lots, and I thank the Universe for Facebook (hint to those of you who are not on Facebook yet).

Art and You

Hey Everyone,

Starting Wednesday, I’ll be presenting a series of shows on Art and You TV during Show Off, the independent Art Fair that takes place during FIAC. There will be a couple of videos in English, but most of it will be in French of course. I produce and I’m the anchor host or whatever it is you call it, the galleries involved are awesome, and it should be fun fun fun. Tune in every day, improve your French, and send me good vibes :)

It strikes me as odd that after many years spent criticizing the American people for their presidential choice, the French would go and elect their own equivalent. Ladies and gentlemen, we got ourselves our very own baby bush, last night. I think I’ll call him Bébé Bouche. That said, democracy is back, it seems. 87% of the voting population went to the polls. Good luck, Mr le President, people get the leaders they deserve.

Also, I just found out in a meeting with the creative content director at Daily Motion, who was an absolute darling, that I can stick all my videos, or any Daily Motion video for that matter, in my blog. How ’bout that… And I thought I was on top of my stuff. Pfffff. To think I could’ve shared my adventures with y’all earlier.

Anyway, here’s something for you guys to check out, this something being my latest incursion into the art world. What is Art? Huh? L’art, c’est quoi? This is the first episode, I’ll post the next one tomorrow. And then I’ll post Clarisse running around and singing. I’m creative. Dammit.

Art and You s’apprête à lancer sa v.2.0, et à devenir une formidable plateforme d’exposition, de diffusion et de commercialisation de la création artistique. Sur cette plateforme, il y aura le mag Art and You, avec ses contenus videos, ses sujets écrits, ses reportages photos…

Art and You Video c’est, à ce jour, 18 contenus en ligne, une équipe de 4 personnes fabuleuses dirigées avec amour, gloire et petits cris de bonheur par votre très humble servante, 6000 visionnages de nos contenus sur les quelques site où nous sommes présents, et un podcast iTunes en pleine ascension, avec une moyenne de 200 téléchargements par jour.

Si vous êtes et/ou connaissez des amateurs d’art, néophytes ou confirmés, qui aiment à tâter de la caméra, de l’appareil photo, ou de la plume, je cherche des contributeurs, ayant l’envie de partager leurs visions, réactions, coups de coeur ou coups de gueule. Vous allez à un vernissage, une expo et vous vous sentez l’âme d’un papararazzi? les enfants de votre voisin ont repeint façon cubiste la cage d’escalier et votre porte avec? votre meilleure amie est une illustratrice de talent, votre oncle se prend pour Picasso et veut vous en parler?

Allez hop, allez zou, filmez, photographiez, écrivez-moi tout ça, si ça plaît à l’équipe, vous serez contributeur(rice) invité(e) dans la v.2 et sur tous les podcasts Art and You !

Si vous pouviez, pendant qu’on y est, faire circuler l’info concernant ces videos sur lesquelles je m’amuse follement, et prendre quelques minutes pour vous y abonner, pendant qu’on y est, que se passerait-il?

Ca ferait du “traffic”, comme on dit, qui stimulerait, par voie de conséquence, un “traffic” encore plus crazy fabulous, qui du coup, ferait monter ces videos dans le hit parade des videos, qui du coup me rendrait toute rose de joie, ce qui du coup me ferait faire la toupie de bonheur, et quand Mano fait la toupie, c’est l’univers entier qui rit (vieil adage crétois, et tout le monde sait que le régime crétois est bon pour la santé).

En bref, abonnez-vous et visionnez les videos que je m’épuise à créer dans ma cave la nuit avec des enfants chinois qui pédalent, et on pourra se reposer le dimanche.
